  • Course held at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute Bocas del Toro Field Station during 2-week core session “Conservation Medicine & One Health”

  • Veterinary & One Health outreaches to Indigenous Island Communities in the Archipelago of Bocas Del Toro

  • Ability to customize itinerary/course content according to your groups’ interest, including additional field trips or trip add-ons such as:

    • Isla Escudo de Veraguas, Panama: (weather permitting) island of the endangered Pygmy Sloth camping trip

    • Boquete, Panama: Volcan Baru National Park Cloud Forest & Wild life refuge, Tree Trek hanging bridges, Chiriqui Viejo River white water rafting trip, Coffee Country.

    • Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica: La Ceiba Primary forest (Gandoca-Manzanillo National Refuge), Jaguar Rescue Center, Old Harbor Arts & Crafts Market, Sloth Sanctuary of Costa Rica, Ara Manzanillo Endangered Great Green Macaw reintroduction program.
